The Hublot Big Bang Unico "All Black" Review [WITH VIDEO]

Last year, Hublot launched the first edition of the Big Bang Unico: A wristwatch from their most celebrated collection featuring an innovative in-house flyback chronograph movement. Hublot has now introduced a more recent variation of this piece, the Big Bang Unico "All Black."

Evidenced by the incorporation of microblasted black ceramic into the case, Hublot has certainly gone along with current trends. However, what differentiates this watch from other black ceramic Baselworld novelties is the all-matte finishing, which makes the watch more resistant to scratching. The bezel, secured by six signature "H" screws, rests on the hefty 45.5 mm case.

Alike the screws surrounding the bezel, the crown is stamped "H". The rounded pushers even resemble the original Big Bang pushers from the 2005 model. While the watch's overall appearance may seem a bit bold, there are plenty of understated aspects of the design that are nothing short of elegant. One example is the skeletonized dial that reveals a superb view of the iUnico chronograph movement's inner works.

The Hublot Big Bang Unico "All Black" is limited to 500 pieces and is currently available at Hublot boutiques and select authorized retailers. For more information, please visit www.hublot.com.
